However, after listening to the entire book, one realizes that the underlying message is that if the person you are dating (and I agree with previous reviewers that this book would help both men and women) is not treating you the way you want/deserve, you need to move on. In order to make this book more accessible, the authors often use easy maxims, such as 'He doesn't call.' to try to get the point across that 'He's not that into you.' This makes the book easy to criticize (and I have my own issue with 'Women should never make the first move.'). I only wish I'd come across it years ago and saved myself a lot of years with the wrong guys! In order to maintain any form of sanity in a very difficult dating world as a woman, I strongly recommend this book. I couldn't stop laughing at the scenario's it threw up as I could familiarize with all the excuses we as women make rather than look at the obvious. I expected (as most self help books are) for it to be a deep explanation into the why's and why not's. This was recommended to me by a friend who didn't give anything away before hand.
